Legislated Term Limits - Bad Idea

Self imposed or voter determined term limits are best for our nation.  This was the original intent of our Founding Fathers, allowing for the people to have the last say.

However, legislated term limits puts the unelected hired staffers in charge.  That is like allowing un-elected judges to make policy.  Legislated term limits give the unelected staffers more power and influence over the laws with limited checks or balance.
The attached article from Politico illustrates how working for The United States House of Representatives is a pretty sweet deal. You don't have to run for office, you don't have to work all year, you get to go home early most Fridays, get to know wealthy, powerful people, eat good food, attend ritzy events, you influence a man or woman who makes our nation's laws because you have their ear, oh,.....and you can make $172,500/year.

Legislated term limits remove the final checks and balance established by the constitution...you the people.

STOP the Takeover!

It is a sad day when we are forced to fund the destruction of the next generation.  Obviously, the radical left wants to enslave Americans.  They want to reduce the number of people so they will have fewer to control.

But wait, there is a silver lining in the current cloud of healthcare.  More, and more Americans are waking up.  Just as in Washington, Concord Is on the March to take over more, and more of our freedoms, trampling on our constitutions and forcing dependency upon the people.
And the bully on the playground will only stop the forward momentum when someone hollers, STOP!

It is time we, the people holler, shout, scream...STOP!
STOP! We will not allow you to continue to destroy the next generation through taxpayer funded abortions.
STOP!  We will not allow you to take more, and more of our tax dollars from us, we have worked too hard to earn them.  STOP!  We will not allow you to burden our children nor their children with your addiction to spending without concern.
It is time to campaign and fire those who trample on our freedoms while claiming to represent us.  Get behind your candidate.  Pray for them.  Volunteer to help them.  Send the much needed finances, no matter how small.  Then talk to your friends.  Talk to your neighbors.  Talk to the radio talk show host.  Talk to the shop owner.  Every where you go talk about your candidate and why you are supporting them.  Write letters to the editors of newspapers.  Make sure the name of your candidate is known.  This is the only way we win in November.
